Summertime should be filled with curiosity, creativity, and opportunities to grow, but for many families, access to meaningful summer experiences is not guaranteed. At the ROCK, our summer camps combine fun with purpose, helping young people build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging through thoughtfully designed weekly camps. You can provide a student with the gift of an unforgettable summer at The ROCK. See highlights from last year’s summer camp here!

A Summer of Opportunity

Attending summer camp helps students build confidence, form new friendships, and develop their skills outside of the classroom. Adolescent research shows that participation in summer camp has long-term academic and social benefits for young people.

This year, The ROCK will offer 7 weeks of summer camp based out of our new Eastman Avenue teen space. Campers will experience hands-on learning, build positive relationships with their peers, and explore their community through weekly field trips.

Registration for summer camp is now open! Each week has its own theme:

  • Create Your Adventure – campers will create their own characters, play games, explore stories, and craft mystical items at this camp centered around fantasy and strategy.
  • Olympic Champions – campers will compete in team events, trivia, and creative challenges while learning about other cultures during opening and closing ceremonies.
  • Galaxy Explorers – campers will spend the week exploring the wonders of space through STEM experiments, rocket building, and planning a mission to Mars!
  • The School of Good vs. Evil – campers will design costumes, tackle magical challenges, solve riddles, and face epic team trials that spark creativity, confidence, friendship, and unforgetable adventures.
  • Mad Science – campers will discover a world of chemistry as they perform a plethora of wacky experiments and learn how every day items can create extraordinary reactions.
  • Future Builders – campers will gain hands-on skills in building and entrepreneurship to tackle creative challenges while learning trade skills, teamwork, and business basics.
  • A Week at Camp Half-Blood – campers will craft armor and shields, compete in Olympian challenges, and embark on mythic quests that build teamwork and confidence in this week for young heroes!

Give the Gift of an Unforgettable Summer

The cost of summer camp can be a concern for many families. Last year, we received more than 40 requests for camp scholarships and, thanks to generous donor support, were able to say yes to 13 students. This summer, your gift, no matter the size, can help us say yes to even more, opening the door to a summer of possibility, connection, and growth for the young people who need it most.
