From Diplomas to Direction
Graduation might seem like the finish line, but really, the diploma is only a launching point for the future. For teens, the transition to what’s next (whether it’s college, career, training, or something still unknown) can feel overwhelming.
Discover You™ helps students build their confidence and find their direction through enhancing their understanding of who they are. Through guided activities and self-reflection, teens begin to recognize their strengths, understand their values, and build their skills to help them navigate the path ahead.
Confidence and Career Readiness
For teens, direction isn’t just about knowing what to do. It’s also having the preparation and confidence to do it well.
Discover You™ supports teens in building their essential career readiness competencies: the foundation needed for launching a successful career. These are skills that transfer across industries, roles, and careers, such as:
- Communication – ability to clearly share information and perspectives
- Teamwork – working collaboratively to achieve a goal
- Self-development– awareness of strengths and embracing opportunities for growth
- Critical Thinking – gathering information and making decisions using sound judgement
- Leadership – leveraging resources and motivating others toward a shared vision
When combined with academic and hands-on learning, Discover You™ programs help students connect their values, strengths, and skills to their future career goals.
Partnership Spotlight: Bay-Arenac ISD Career Center
In the 2025-26 school year, Discover You™ partnered with the Bay-Arenac ISD Career Center, working alongside educators and students to strengthen learning and career readiness. Students in the program built their career readiness skills alongside hands-on learning at the Career Center, preparing them with well-rounded experiences for the path ahead.
